Reunion 2025 Honors Esteemed HWS Faculty Awardees

During Reunion 2025 at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, Professors John W. Burns P’89 and the late Peter M. Cummings P’92 were honored with the Distinguished Faculty Award. The award recognized their lasting impact as mentors, scholars, and teachers. President Mark D. Gearan noted in his remarks that the award highlights the important role of faculty in shaping the quality of education and the lives of students, acknowledging both current faculty and those from the past who have contributed to the institution’s traditions and values.
