Members of the YMCA of Greater Rochester leadership team traveled to Albany this week to meet with state legislators and their staff. The group met with Assemblyman Josh Jensen, Senator Jeremy Cooney, Senator Pam Helming, Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton, Assemblywoman Sarah Clark representing AD 136, Robert Smullen representing New York’s 21st District, and Senator Rob Ortt. During these meetings, they presented their case for supporting services that are essential to the community every day. The YMCA expressed appreciation for the legislators taking the time to listen and engage on these important issues.
