Albany County Executive reports that this year’s Winterfest will be held on Saturday, January 17, at Lawson Lake County Park in Feura Bush, New York. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes activities such as snowshoeing, ice skating (BYO skates), ice fishing, sled dogs, snowmobiling, and an ice rescue demonstration by the sheriff's office. Food trucks will also be available.

The festival is located at 293 Lawson Lake County Road in Feura Bush, and all activities are subject to change. Participating partners include the NYS Snowmobile Association, Department of Environmental Conservation, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Albany County Departments of Aging, Stormwater Coalition, Children Youth & Families, Crime Victim & Sexual Violence Center, and Veterans Service Bureau.
