Ontario County’s Office for the Aging is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Distinguished Volunteer Awards. The awards will honor local older adult volunteers who have made significant contributions to the community. Nominees must be Ontario County residents, 60 years of age or older. Nominations may be submitted by individuals or organizations.

Two honorees will also be nominated for the New York State Office for the Aging Older New Yorker Volunteer Award. The state awards event is scheduled for May in Albany.

Nomination forms must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026. To request a nomination form by mail or email, interested parties should contact the Ontario County Office for the Aging at 585-396-4040.
