The Albany Public Library has released its January/February 2026 Program Guide, which is available for free and open to the public. The guide lists events for Black History Month along with a series from the Adirondack Experience.

Black History Month events include:

• Black History Month Music BINGO on February 1

• An exhibit titled “African American Sailors, Skippers & Boatmen Along the Hudson River” on February 2

• An artists’ panel featuring the art of Jean-Michel Basquiat on February 2

• Trivia Night on February 4

• A film screening of Black Panther on February 8

• Storytime: Young Black Scholars on February 15

• An art and craft session, “Create Your Own Passport,” on February 22

The Adirondack Moments Series features programs from Adirondack Experience. Scheduled events include presentations on Georgia O’Keeffe at Lake George, the Adirondack Vacation: 1 Hour History, and a “Burgers & Fries” event on February 17 at 1 p.m.
