Albany NY Library is offering free Narcan training sessions at several local branches. The drop-in training is a 15-minute session on how to safely administer Narcan nasal spray. All participants will receive a free Narcan kit.

The training sessions for adults only will take place at the following locations and times:

• Tuesday, Jan. 6, 12–1 pm at the Washington Ave Branch.

• Thursday, Jan. 15, 5:30–6:30 pm at the Delaware Branch.

• Monday, Feb. 2, 5–6 pm at the Howe Branch.

• Thursday, Feb. 5, 12–1 pm at the Pine Hills Branch.

There is no registration required for the training sessions. Partners from The Collaboratory and Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences are involved in providing the sessions.
