Albany, NY – A significant police presence is expected in the area around Mater Christi today and tomorrow as members of the community gather for services honoring Albany Police Officer Jan Mika Jr.

During the services, the Albany County Sheriff’s Office will manage all calls for service in the city. Residents are advised to continue calling 911 for emergencies and use the non-emergency number, (518) 438-4000, if needed.
