Geneva Library Debuts New Bookmarks, Hosts Diverse Events

Geneva Public Library in Geneva, NY announced that new bookmarks will be available at the first floor desk starting Monday. Interested visitors can get an early look at the bookmarks at the library's table at PrideFest at the Ontario County Fairgrounds tomorrow.

Other scheduled events and services include the BYO Book Club, which meets at Empire Coffee & Donuts at 6:00 pm on the third Wednesday, and the Reading Time sessions. The library is also hosting Dungeons & Dragons One Shots on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm and offering one-on-one technology help for computers, smartphones, tablets, and apps.

Additionally, the library is accepting donations for a book sale that includes books, Blu-rays, CDs, and video games. A free notary service is available at the library, though users are advised to call ahead at 315-789-5303 as the service is subject to availability.

Other weekly programs include Open Stitch every Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Geneva Public Library also provides printing services at 244 Main St., with hours Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (closed from 12:00 to 1:00 pm for lunch) and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, with entry through Door #2, Side Street Entrance.

Upcoming events also feature the Science Fiction & Film Fanatics series, with a film screening of On the Beach on June 20 and the Color Our World event for preschool-aged children on July 25 at 10:00 am. For more information, visit www.gplny.org or call the library at 315-789-5303.
